Department of Defense STEM (DoD STEM) is committed to strengthening the nation’s STEM talent pipeline by supporting hands-on, real-world learning opportunities for students across the United States.
Through DoD STEM support, S.C.R.A.P. Robotics is able to expand access to engineering education, provide meaningful technical experiences, and empower students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
NASA, through the NASA Robotics Alliance Project, works to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators by expanding access to hands-on STEM education for students across the United States.
S.C.R.A.P. Robotics is proud to be a recipient of the NASA Robotics Alliance Project grant for rookie and second-year teams. This marks NASA’s second year supporting our team, helping us grow our program, strengthen technical skills, and continue building a sustainable future in robotics.
The Argosy Foundation supports programs that expand educational opportunity and foster meaningful learning experiences for students, with a strong focus on STEM and workforce development.
Argosy provided S.C.R.A.P. two crucial grants this year: The Rookie Sustainment Grant and Everybot Toolbox Grant.
The Gene Haas Foundation is dedicated to advancing manufacturing and technical education by supporting programs that develop skilled, career-ready students.
With support from the Gene Haas Foundation, S.C.R.A.P. Robotics is able to provide students with hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and advanced manufacturing, helping them build real-world skills that prepare them for future careers in engineering and the skilled trades.
Recorded Future, based in Somerville, Massachusetts, has been a meaningful supporter of S.C.R.A.P. Robotics and our students since our program's beginning. Their commitment to innovation and forward-thinking technology aligns closely with our mission to prepare students for the real world through hands-on STEM learning.
Many of our students go onto cybersecurity and computer science majors, thanks to the work and generosity that Recorded Future gives to our program.
Bolt Depot has been a valued supporter of S.C.R.A.P. Robotics, helping ensure our students have access to the fundamental materials that make robot development possible. With Bolt Depot’s support, our team is able to focus on the importance of quality, reliability, and attention to detail in engineering.
NHRL (National Havoc Robot League) supports the growth of robotics by promoting innovation, competition, and hands-on engineering through combat robotics and technical events.
Through NHRL’s support, S.C.R.A.P. Robotics is able to expand student exposure to advanced robotics concepts, real-world engineering challenges, and the broader robotics community, inspiring students to pursue continued learning and technical excellence.
FRC Team 118 – The Robonauts is a competitive high school robotics team based at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Known for their award-winning designs and technical excellence, the team has been inspiring students in STEM through hands-on robotics, mentorship, and participation in FIRST Robotics Competition since 1986.
