S.C.R.A.P. (Student Community of Robotics and Programming) Robotics is a robotics team that's committed expanding STEM awareness in our community and fostering a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and resilience. Through outreach events, sponsor partnerships, and local projects, we strive to make a positive impact and inspire others to explore the world of robotics and programming.
Our team started started in 2023 from our high school's robotics club to provide students with applicable hands-on education in the STEM field. Since then, we have made amazing partnerships with people and organizations in our community, and have participated in many community events throughout the year.

Meet our 2025 Robot
Jalapeño
Jalapeño
Jalapeño is a robot build for the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition game: REEFSCAPE. It features a omni-directional drive system for for full-field maneuverability and precise movement. Designed to pick up and place CORAL game pieces, our robot uses an intake and placement mechanism optimized for quick cycles and smooth handling. The robot is equipped with a vision system for accurate placement, alongside an Orange Pi to effectively navigate the field.
